A sleek & modern architecturally designed new residence was designed for this coastal property of 1,132m2.   While the clients wanted to enjoy the great ocean views they also wanted to tread lightly on their land by not clearing any of the natural vegetation and working with grey water reuse.

We liaised closely with them to decrease the cost of this build in 2 main ways:  We changed the wall types from steel to stud framing; increasing the flexibility in the large open living areas & increasing the bush fire resistance level.  We also changed the roof  to one pitch with lots less steel & more timber framing carefully respecting the clients overall look & design requirements.
